Perrier today
By 1990, when Gustave Leven stepped down as president of the group, Perrier led the mineral water market worldwide.
Nestlé took over Perrier in 1992, forming what would eventually be known as Nestlé Waters SA, which leads the world bottled water market today with 73 brands, including Perrier, Vittel, Valvert, and Contrex, of course, but also Nestlé Pure Life and Nestlé Aquarel.
Since 2000 the Perrier brand has sparkled in new formats to quench all thirsts in all circumstances.
Perrier launched the 50 cL plastic ready-to-tote-everywhere format in 2001.
Perrier unveiled Perrier Fluo in 2002 – it’s an astonishing designer mix coloured glacier blue for peppermint, spicy yellow for lemon juniper, and acid pink for cherry ginger.
Perrier introduced Eau de Perrier in 2003, a light sparkling water containing 100% pure pleasure and 100% Perrier spirit.
