1990-2000: Water, air, life!
Throughout this decade, Perrier leverages its image and calls on the talents of top directors: Jean Paul Goude, Ridley Scott, Jean Jacques Annaud. In the early 1990s, Perrier refocuses communications on the product's natural quality and signs a trio of ads - "The Lioness", "The Planets" and "McEnroe" - with the tagline "L'eau, l'air, la vie" ("
Water, air, life") . The 90s are a difficult decade in much of the world. Perrier greets the millennium with a touch of humour, an antidote in troubled times. Recent ads, like the t-shirt campaign, have gone so far as to omit the brand's signature on posters. Today, Perrier clearly understands, a strong image is worth at least 1000 words. |
